Yo, what’s up? This is DMC in the place to be. And today I’m in the place to be with the magnificent, awesome, incredible band called Deez Guyzz. When I first met them out in Long Beach, I was speaking at the library, and then I came up with the idea to perform with them. They allowed me to come on and grace the stage with them.
But during the soundcheck they was playing, you know, Nirvana, AC/DC, all types of the best rock music you could hear. And then they did this song called Waffle House Breakdown, an original song by them.
And I was like?!?!
What is that?
It was catchy. It was energetic. It was youthful. I love the song because it’s what’s missing from entertainment in the music business.
Now it has all the ingredients of a phenomenal, fantastic, mind blowing hit. So we’re here in New York City at Platinum Sounds Studios, 122 West 26th Street. We just finished recording the song. We got the song mixed. Next thing to do is master it. I believe the song is going to do a few things. It’s going to make music fun again.
It’s going to encourage a lot of the younger people. And above all, it’s gonna break down the generational walls that separate us. Adults and children alike will love this song.
Basically, Waffle House break down. It’s going to bring us all together.
